Angelito Mexican Restaurant Reviews

Good quality, good staff, good selection. I normally buy a mangonada when I come to a place like this, but this time, I took a chance on chance on something new, a mango chamoyada. It was quite good.

Recuerda seguirme The truth is that I like that it is a place where you can cash a check or send money in a very easy way for Latin people. Although the restaurant has few variations of food, I can say that what it sells is delicious, the sale of sweets of Latin origin is excellent. 4.5 Remember, this is my opinion. Remember to follow me

LOVED finding this place. Walked in and no one was speaking English, lots of people waiting for their orders, and folks were lined up at a window in the back, presumably to send money to relatives abroad. I knew this place was gonna be legit. Roast chicken: a bit on the dry side, but we slathered it in beans and rice and salsa in a tortilla (we also ordered sides of rice and beans). Asked for spicy salsa and they delivered. Solid. Came with two sides Carne asada fries: they did not play around. This was a HEFTY portion with a generous portion of carne asada. YUMMMM. Mango chamoyada: I'm a fan of mangonadas and this was even better. More chamoy so spicier and a bit more savory. So refreshing in the humid summer night. Fresas con crema: I'm assuming this was good (it looked good!) because my eldest son INHALED it. Lots of fresh strawberries in it. Paletas: kids got cookies and cream and strawberry paletas. They were very happy. Lots of freezer full of every flavor you could think of. Glad we found this place during our Salt Lake City visit. If we are back in the area, 100% coming back for carne asada fries and a ton of paletas and desserts. Only one worker spoke English but everyone was super friendly and helpful with my Californian broken Spanish.

I love fresas con crema and the esquites! Awesome selection of snacks and great portions. If only there was a smaller cup for fresas con crema but it's still great! Love it

The spicy pork burrito is most excellent! A truly transcendent tube shaped food experience. The extensive selection of paletas is pretty cool too. I definitely had to consult Google on several of the flavors. This is the best food experience I've had from an eatery of this style in a hot minute.

The absolutely best Mexican food on the west side and possibly SLC! It's a little hidden but it's worth getting to. My go to is the potato or chicken tacos dorado and eloté. Both are so so insanely delicious. Everyone at this spot is. It's not usually a long wait and the staff is very friendly. I love this spot! Not to mention their popsicles which are also delicious. 10/10 go here.

I ordered a carne asada quesadilla and a large Frescas con Crema and it was by far the best priced and best tasting I've had around so far. I would definitely come here again and the service was very quick.
